Spanwire to Mast Arm Conversion

Lighthouse TG was contracted by the City of Centennial to provide full construction services for the replacement of two aging span-wire traffic signal systems. These legacy installations had reached the end of their service life and presented increasing maintenance and reliability concerns.

The project involved removing the outdated span-wire assemblies and replacing them with modern pole and mast arm signal systems designed to meet current safety standards and support advanced traffic control technology. Lighthouse managed the entire reconstruction process, including demolition, foundation installation, pole and mast arm placement, signal head mounting, and cabinet integration.

The upgraded infrastructure not only improves the durability and visual clarity of the intersections but also enables future enhancements such as vehicle detection upgrades, pedestrian signal improvements, and better signal coordination. By transitioning from span wire to mast arms, the City of Centennial has invested in a safer, more reliable, and future-ready traffic signal system. Lighthouse delivered the project with a focus on safety, quality, and minimal disruption to the traveling public.
