Lighthouse TG was contracted to provide comprehensive construction services for a critical infrastructure upgrade at the intersection of 160th Avenue and Sheridan Parkway in the City and County of Broomfield. The project involved the full reconstruction of an existing temporary span-wire signal, which was replaced with a permanent, modern signal system designed to meet current safety and operational standards.
As part of the broader effort to future-proof the city’s traffic infrastructure, Lighthouse also installed new fiber optic interconnect along 160th Avenue, extending from Sheridan Parkway to Huron Street. This new fiber network will support Broomfield’s long-term goal of deploying a fully connected traffic signal system capable of real-time communication, signal coordination, and adaptive traffic management.
The project enhances both current and future traffic operations by improving intersection reliability and laying the groundwork for advanced Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). Lighthouse coordinated closely with local agencies, utility providers, and engineering teams to ensure precise execution and minimize disruption to the surrounding community.
