Over the past three years, Lighthouse TG has played a key role in modernizing detection infrastructure for CDOT Region 4 by installing several hundred Iteris Vantage Vector cameras across the region. These installations were part of a large-scale initiative to replace outdated detection systems with more accurate, adaptive, and data-rich technology. The Iteris Vantage Vector units provide both stop bar and advanced detection capabilities, enhancing signal responsiveness and intersection efficiency.
In addition to improved vehicle detection, the new system offers detailed turning movement counts and supports multimodal detection for pedestrians and bicyclists. This advanced functionality gives traffic engineers real-time insight into intersection behavior while laying the groundwork for future smart transportation upgrades. Lighthouse coordinated with CDOT to ensure proper placement, calibration, and integration, helping the region make a significant leap forward in traffic signal performance and data collection.
